Flyers 1 - Wild 2

Ian Laperriere contributed 2 blocked shots and 1 hit as the Flyers ended their road trip with a loss to the Wild on Saturday, February 6, 2010.

Upon returning home to 28.5 inches of snow in Philadelphia (official measurement at the airport) later that night, Kevin Kurz posted the following on the team's Twitter page:
"Not surprisingly, Ian Laperriere and Danny Briere are last to leave parking lot making sure every last person is dug out of the snow."

Ian Laperriere Named "Beauty of the Week"

The epitome of a professional. That is one simple sentence that can define "Lappy". He is one of those guys that won't show up on the scoresheet too often...or actually he does show up quite a bit but it's just usually listed under the PIMS category... but teams are dying to get him in their dressing room. He brings a leadership quality to the 'room' that is rare to find in this day and age and is something that can't be taught. Lappy is a born leader and is someone that is always looked to when things get tough. The most defining quality of Lappy, however, is his love for the game...
