Lap-Land Colorado RW Ian Laperriere doesn't mind fighting. He doesn't even mind losing. He just wants a little respect -- hence, his throat-clearing after Monday's bout with Edmonton D Mathieu Roy: "I didn't appreciate it when he kept punching when I was down," Laperriere told the Edmonton Journal. "He's not the only one. I can't just blame him. It's around the league. I think it's disrespectful. You see it with young guys. I told him he shouldn't do it, and I think he understands." Roy said he just got excited. "I should have stopped. After it was over, I said, 'Holy smokes.' I respect the guy a lot, and it's good I can fight a guy with that name."
